On Thursday November 14th, The Board of County Commissioners held a Work Session with the Public Works Ferry Division leadership to discuss the specifics of the 2025 Ferry Fare increases. 

The GIFC received a recording of this meeting from the county and we wanted to share it with our constituent list so that you are all aware of the changes to come in the new year.

Topics that were discussed include:

• Proposed fare increases for 2025
• Emergency response
• Multi-ride tickets
• Electronic ticketing

This meeting is roughly an hour long and we think it is very important that our community watch the entire thing so that you are all aware of the changes that will be proposed.
